Self Organization

HAVE YOU ever had the feeling of knowing that tomorrow you have an exam and have only one night to study what should have taken three months?
Or, have you ever arrived at work or at school and tried to get to your place without the boss or teacher noticing that you are late ?

With a little bit of self organization, last minute studying can be avoided and arriving on time can become a habit.

For self organization you need time to plan what you are going to do every day, even if it is only for a few minutes, Some people find that the best time for making preparations it is at night-time before going to go sleep. You must consider what you time you need to go to sleep so you can get up in plenty of time to get to school or to work. It is important to have your clothes, books and other equipmenty for the next day.

One reason why students are late for school is that they stay up to watch late programmes on televisions. When they wake up in the morning. They have to find their clothes. Perhaps they forgot to tell their other the night before thay they need their sports clothes, so they have to wait while those clothes are ironed.
When they are ready to go to school case they have forgoten to put the book in their school case they have to spend five minutes searching for it. By the time they arrive at a school they are late.

Self organization is easy when it becomes a habit, and one habit that is necessary for self-organization is tidiness. A wise saying is “ A Place for everything in its place”. It is a lot easier to be organized if your clothes, books and other equipment have a special place so you always know exactly where everything is. This means that you need it.

If you use public transport you need to allow plenty of time. Sometimes your transports will travel slowly. After you have been traveling from home to your school or office for a few weeks, you will know how long it takes. Then you will be able to organize yourself so you are not late.
